Sabarimala opens only on its pilgrimage calendar. Kerala Tourism describes ritual opening at 03:00 and final closure at 23:00 on opening days, but does not give complete darshan breaks. These are not continuous darshan hours or year-round weekday windows. The main pilgrimage season falls broadly in November–January, with additional openings in the first five days of Malayalam months and at Vishu and Onam. Exact Mandala–Makaravilakku 2026–27 opening and closing dates were not confirmed; the Board calendar still lists older seasons.
