Sparsha Darshan at Srisailam Mallikarjuna Temple
Sparsha darshan lets devotees touch the Mallikarjuna jyotirlinga at Srisailam, which many keep as a vow. Tickets are for one person, sold in fixed slots on the official sites, and the temple stops it on peak days.
What happens
- Book a slot on the Devasthanam website or the AP Endowments site. Each sparsha ticket admits one person, and the booking cannot be cancelled or moved.
- Print the receipt and carry the same original Aadhaar card you used to book. Report at your booked slot.
- Join the sparsha queue without phones, bags or footwear. Inside the sanctum you may touch the linga.

When to go
Since an Aug 2026 revision, Tuesday to Thursday keep three sparsha slots a day, while Saturday, Sunday and Monday have only a night slot. A Dec 2025 report put the weekend night slot at 9 pm to 11 pm.
