Vasanta Panchami at Jogulamba, Alampur

What happens

1. On the last day of the Brahmotsavam, priests perform the Purnahuti and the Avabhritha Snanam, the closing bath of the festival.
2. Then comes the Sahasra Ghata Abhishekam, in which the goddess is bathed from a thousand pots with panchamritam of milk, honey, ghee, sugar and curd.
3. Devotees bring kalashas of holy water and offer it to the goddess themselves.
