Garuda Sevai at Varadharaja Perumal Temple, Kanchipuram

What happens

1. The Vaikasi Brahmotsavam runs for ten days and is the temple's highlight of the year.
2. On Garuda Sevai, the processional Varadharaja is carried out of the temple on a Garuda vahanam for devotees to see.
3. The chariot festival is the festival's other major day. The temple car is believed to have been given by Krishnadevaraya in 1517.
